Frequently asked questions
Is there a subscription?
Not currently. SigningOS is a one-time download with all features included at no charge. We may introduce an optional Pro tier in the future for additional features, but the core LSA workflow tools will remain free.
Does this replace NotaryGadget?
SigningOS covers most of what NotaryGadget does — order tracking, mileage, income, checklists — plus features NotaryGadget doesn't have (guided signing mode, credential reminders, AI intake). The one area NotaryGadget currently leads is accountant-ready exports and detailed accounting reports. That's on our roadmap.
Is my data backed up?
Orders are stored locally on your device using SQLite and synced to Supabase cloud when you're online. Your data is tied to your account and survives reinstalls as long as you sign in with the same account.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The app works fully offline. Orders, checklists, and the compliance guide are all local-first. The AI features (order intake and signing assistant) require an internet connection.
Is it available for Android?
Currently iOS only. Android support is planned for a future release. If Android availability is important to you, join the waitlist and we'll notify you when it launches.
How does the AI order intake work?
You use the iOS Share Sheet to share a signing order email (as text) to SigningOS. The app sends the text to our AI extraction service, which returns structured fields (borrower, address, date, loan type, signing service, etc.). You review and confirm before saving.
