What happens when my state fills its 50 spots?+
The Charter offer closes permanently for that state. No waitlist, no exceptions. You can still join as a standard directory member at the then-current rate when the directory opens to all.
Is Charter membership different from a SigningOS app subscription?+
Yes. Charter Membership is for your public directory listing on signingos.app. The SigningOS app subscription (Pro Annual or Elite Annual) is for the workflow tools — orders, AI scan-back, apostille routing, Beacon, invoicing, and more. They work together but neither requires the other.
What if I already subscribe to SigningOS?+
Existing Pro and Elite subscribers can claim a Charter directory listing separately. Reach out to hello@signingos.app — we extend the standard 30-day Charter trial to 90 days for current subscribers as a thank-you.
How do I get verified?+
After you apply, we review your commission number within two business days and mark your profile verified. For states where commission numbers aren't publicly searchable, we may request a copy of your commission certificate.
Can I refer other notaries?+
Yes — the SigningOS referral program is coming soon. Charter Members are first to access it and receive enhanced referral rewards.
What if I let my subscription lapse and resubscribe later?+
Your Charter Member badge is permanent — it stays on your profile regardless of subscription status. If you resubscribe after lapsing, you pay the then-current standard rate (not the Charter rate). The badge stays; the rate lock does not survive a cancellation.
